Entries closed this week for our Sailing Champions League qualified clubs to register and we’re please to report that the following clubs will be representing themselves and the BKL in European leagues this year.
Strathclyde University SC (2nd BKL Finals) – Vilamoura, Portugal
Marconi SC (3rd BKL Finals) – Sopot, Poland
Royal Northern & Clyde YC (4th BKL Finals) – Berlin, Germany
Unfortunately our 2022 BKL Champions Royal Lymington YC were unable to take up their place but they have committed to attempt to qualify again through the 2023 BKL series and we wish them every success. Our 5th place finisher in 2022, West Hoe SC have therefore been offered at last minute the opportunity to compete at Sopot.
We wish every one of our teams success in the European leagues and we’ll be reporting on their progress when competition begins March.
